PEAC
POP’s Emerging Artist Collective (PEAC) is a program intended for students who have expressed the desire to refine their musical skills and explore a potential career in music.

In addition to daily after-school music instruction, PEAC students receive private lessons, individualized curricula, and expert advocacy to navigate the many barriers and opportunities the city has to offer.
Students who are nominated by a teaching artist, based on their commitment, innate ability, and citizenship at Play On Philly then audition for entrance to this special program. PEAC students receive weekly private lessons, participate in solo recitals and participate in external opportunities which provide essential learning opportunities for these students who may be interested in pursuing music as a career path.
In previous years, students in the PEAC program have attended competitive national summer festivals including YOLA National Festival in Los Angeles and Sewanee Summer Music Festival in Tennessee, have joined elite youth orchestras such as Philadelphia Sinfonia, and have been accepted to secondary music programs at Temple University, among others. PEAC provides the Play On Philly student community with clear musical and citizenship role models.
