Curriculum

Play On Philly’s rigorous instrumental curriculum, developed in collaboration with teaching artists, sets the standards high for what a POP student can achieve.

Students learn, practice and refine their technical and musical skills on their instrument in order to play together in their ensembles. POP pairs its instrumental curriculum with high behavior and social expectations, also called citizenship. Through our program, students are encouraged to model behavior which exemplifies kindness, empathy and understanding.
