Side-by-side Concert with the Swarthmore College Orchestra

The Swarthmore College Orchestra will partner with the Play On Philly Chamber Orchestra for a dynamic side-by-side concert. Play On Philly (POP) is one of the treasures of music education in our area, providing daily intensive music instruction to students from pre-K to 12th grade on orchestral instruments for students who would otherwise lack access to these opportunities. The Swarthmore College Orchestra is made up of 65 students spanning a wide range of majors at the college, all of whom share a passion for orchestral music making. Our two orchestras will join together for rehearsals in Philadelphia and Swarthmore, as well as sharing social time together on campus to learn more about one another.
