The Philadelphia Wind Symphony is presenting a holiday “Concert For Coats” featuring a side-by-side performance with students of Play On Philly. We encourage all attendees to bring a donation of a new or lightly used coat to help those in need.

About the Philadelphia Wind Symphony:
The Philadelphia Wind Symphony is a professional ensemble whose members share a common goal of engaging the Philadelphia community through presenting performances of the band and wind ensemble literature. Founded in 2011 by Virginia Allen, this is a 54-member volunteer ensemble of woodwind, brass and percussion players who are citizen artists who are engaged in various professional pursuits. Under the direction of Dr. Joe Higgins, The Philadelphia Wind Symphony presents half a dozen concerts each season around the Philadelphia region. The ensemble is committed to high-quality performances of standard wind ensemble literature while exploring new artistic heights of contemporary music
